Why this plan starts differently

This assessment scores those habits and shows you, plainly, where yours stand.

Weight over time sits beside a short list of ordinary habits: how a plate gets built and whether seconds are a habit, where snacking lands in the day, how often eating goes past comfortably full, how often a meal arrives from a menu or a packet, what the first meal of the day holds, whether you walked, how you slept, and how often stress does the ordering. Each of those is associated in research with how eating goes over months, and every one of them is something you can log.

It reads your habits, never your body.

  • A score out of 100: Across portions and the plate, snacking and fullness, movement, and sleep and stress — so you can see which one to start with.
  • Your two weakest areas: Named specifically, in order, with what tends to move each one first.
  • Something to measure against: Retake it later and compare. If a change worked for you, you will see it in the habits number — the only number this scores.

Why habits, and why a score

Most weight-loss products sell an outcome: an amount, a size, a date. The honest problem with that is that nobody can promise it, and the plans built around the promise — counting, cutting, starting again every Monday — tend to collapse at the first ordinary bad week and take the person’s confidence down with them.

The habits research associates with weight over time are not exotic. How a plate gets built, and whether seconds are a decision or a reflex. Where snacking lands in the day, and what happens in the hour before it. How often eating goes past comfortably full. How often a meal arrives from a menu, an app or a packet. What the first meal of the day holds. Sugary drinks. Walking. Sleep. Whether stress is doing the ordering.

None of those needs a scale, a tracker or an ounce of arithmetic, and all of them can be logged as a plain yes-or-no on an ordinary day. That is what this product does: one small action a day, a twenty-second check-in, and a record that compares your own days against each other.

This assessment scores those habits, names your two weakest, and gives you the starting point. Whether the habits move anything for you is a question your own record answers over months — alongside whatever you and your clinician decide to measure, which is a conversation this product stays out of.

This is for you if

The afternoon snack has quietly become an afternoon of snacks, and by the time dinner arrives you have already eaten one.

You serve a full plate, finish it at speed, and only notice past-full afterwards — most days, not just at celebrations.

The takeaway apps know your order, and cooking has slowly become something other people do.

You have counted, cut things out and started over on a Monday more times than you can remember, and none of it survived an ordinary bad week.

The evening is where it unravels: the kitchen stays open after dinner and the day ends with grazing you barely tasted.

This is not a diet and it sets no target. If eating feels out of control, if you have a history of restricting food or making yourself sick, or if food thoughts crowd most of the day, please talk to a doctor or an eating disorder support service first — the assessment asks about exactly this before anything else, and routes you the same way. While pregnant or nursing, changes to how you eat should be led by your midwife or doctor.

What this is not

  • This is not a diet. Nothing is counted, weighed, measured or banned, and no food is forbidden.
  • It promises no weight change, no size, no shape and no timeframe. Anyone who promises you those is selling the promise, not the habit.
  • It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it is not treatment for any eating problem.
  • It rates how steady eating felt each day, which is your own experience and nothing more.
  • If a clinician or dietitian is advising you about weight or eating, they lead — nothing here changes what you were told to do.

Questions

Is this a diet?

No. Nothing is counted, weighed or banned, and there are no meal plans to follow. It is a handful of ordinary habits — serve once, stop at comfortable, a side of veg or fruit, a walk, a pause before your own snack hour — placed carefully in a day.

How much weight will I lose?

We will not give you a number, and you should be sceptical of anyone who does. This is a habits programme: it scores and tracks everyday eating habits, and what people get from it depends on their starting point and how consistently they use it.

Do I need to weigh myself?

No. Nothing here asks for a weight, and the daily rating is how steady eating felt — your own experience. If you and your clinician track anything, that stays between you.

How long does the assessment take?

Eighteen questions, one tap each, and you see the score straight away. No account, and no email needed to see it.

What happens to my answers?

They produce your score and personalise the programme. They are never sent to any advertising platform.
